Race Information

START The start is at Chiddingly at 11:00 am.  The road to the start and Village Hall is opposite the Six Bells Pub.  The Village Hall will open at 9:30 am with an information desk and toilets available.  Entries on the day will be taken up to 10:30 am.

KIT A kit van will leave the start at 10:55 am.  If you do not have a support vehicle, the Wealdway footpath to Chiddingly is exactly 2 miles and is ideal for a good warm up or warm down (See map below).

RACE NUMBER Your race number has your name written on the front.  Please wear your race number visibly on the front of your vest.  Please complete the Emergency Information on the back of the number before the event.  At the end of the race you can exchange your number at the Kings Head for your free pint of beer or soft drink courtesy of the Kings Head.  Fruit and water will be available at the finish and there will also be a barbeque.

RAFFLE A raffle will be held at the finish with various prizes.  All money raised will go to the East Hoathly and Halland Carnival Society, which is subsequently used to help organise the November Carnival and raise money for charity.

PRIZE GIVING The prize giving will take place at 12:15 pm in front of the Kings Head or in the Kings Head function room if wet.

RACE COURSE

Click here for the course as a Google Earth file (This link seems to work if you are running Firefox , however, if you are running Internet Explorer then Right click the link, click Save Target As …  then decide where to save the file to, for example to your desktop, then click Save. The file is very small, only 4 Kb, so it takes less than a second to download.  After downloading click Open, and then providing that you have Google Earth installed on your computer, double click the file to open the file within Google Earth.  Once Google Earth has opened simply click the play arrow button and you will then 'fly' over the 5 kilometre course).
